You can use the CAPTCHA form element to add spam protection to your forms. When you add the captcha element to your form, JCaptcha is activated automatically. You do not need to change any other settings or complete any other registration processes. This option is ready to use instantly and offers a good level of protection for your forms.
Alongside the standard JCaptcha solution, you also have the option of using alternative captcha providers for your forms – like Friendly Captcha, for example.
To do this, you first need to register with your alternative captcha provider and obtain the corresponding login details. This typically means you need to visit the provider’s website, where you will then register for a developer or business account.
During the registration process, you also normally need to specify the domain where you will be using the captcha later on. Once registration is complete, you will be given the necessary API key and other login credentials.
Once you have registered with your alternative provider, you can then set them up in Formcentric:
Once you have configured an alternative captcha provider, this provider is then used automatically in all forms that contain a CAPTCHA element. This applies to both existing forms and new forms.
