Once you have completed your form, the next step is to publish it. Once published, you can make it available to your users in a number of ways.
One option is to use a link that you share with your form users. You can include this link in an email, web page or document, for example. Or you can use an embed code and embed your form in a web page, from where it can then be filled out and submitted directly.
Your form is ready to go? Great! We can now proceed to the next step, which is publishing your form. This step is necessary for your form to become public, which means it can then be accessed by a link or by being embedded in a web page. If you make changes to a form that is already published, then you must publish your form again to apply the changes you have made. This has the advantage of giving you all the time you need to work on your form, with changes only going live when you decide to republish the form. In this post, we explain how to publish a form and what you need to remember when doing so. You’ll also find out what happens to a published form when you make changes to it later.
Sometimes, you might be in a situation where you have received enough submissions or your form was published as part of a temporary activity that has now expired. There may be various reasons why you want to withdraw a form that is currently live. You can withdraw a published form either in the Forms area.
Once your form is ready, you can share it with your target audience. Learn how to share it via a link here.
Use an embed code to include a form in a web page. An embed code is a snippet of HTML that you use to include a form in a web page without needing to have created this form on the same website. Every time the web page is reloaded, the snippet of code grabs the form again from its original source. This gives you the distinct advantage of not having to do anything else if you make changes to your form: once you publish those changes in Formcentric, the changes are also updated automatically in your embedded forms. You can generate several embed codes in different designs for your form. To do this, go to the Share area and then click Embed code. Select the design you want to use for your form, copy the embed code and then simply include this code in your web page. If you want to share the form via a link, please read the article Sharing forms via links.
