We've improved our designs to provide you with a more stable and better user experience in the long term.
As part of this update, we've revised Hamburg and Tokyo. The previous variants of these designs have been replaced with new versions.
Sliding designs are no longer available as separate designs. Instead, you can now activate the animated page transitions directly in the design settings.
Important notes before you start
Will I lose my existing design settings? If you haven't made any custom adjustments, all settings will be retained when you reselect the same design (e.g. Hamburg Sepia or Tokyo Light). For custom adjustments, these will need to be manually transferred to the new design.
Do I need to select the design again for each link and embed? Yes. Each embed and each published link requires its own design selection in the Share area.
What happens if I do nothing? Forms that have already been published will remain online and functional. However, you won't be able to republish the form until you have selected a current design.
What you should do now
Check your forms and select a current design for republishing where necessary.
How do I identify affected forms?
In the Designs area, you can see which designs are deprecated and can no longer be used. The preview images of the affected designs are labeled “Deprecated.”
In the Share area of affected forms, you will find a corresponding notice.
A message will also appear when you attempt to republish an affected form.
How to update the design
Go to the Designs area and check which designs are marked as deprecated.
If one of your designs is affected, select a new one. For all outdated versions, there is a new variant that differs only minimally from the old design (e.g. Hamburg Light).
Open the new design and test it in the Designs area with your forms to ensure that everything displays correctly.
Make changes if necessary. To make adjustments, create a copy of the design and approve it once you're done.
If you are using the sliding animation, enable enable the page transitions under Animations in the Design editor.
Switch to the Share area and select the new design for each embed and link.
