Moving folders

Whether you are creating forms by yourself or as part of the team, setting up a tidy and logical folder structure is always a good idea. In this way, you (and your team) always know where to look for a file.

During this kind of work, you are likely to want to move a folder at some point.

Read on to find out how to do this.

Moving folders from the overview

  1. Click Media at the top of the screen.
  2. In the overview, find the folder that you want to move.
    Click
    – the context menu link under Actions
    or
    – right-click the folder name
    A context menu appears.
  3. Click Move.
    A dialog window appears.
  4. Select the target folder in the dialog window.
    or
    Click New folder. Then enter a name for the new folder and click the green tick mark to confirm the operation.
  5. Click Move.

You have now moved the folder, which can be found in the target folder you selected.

Moving folders from the left-hand navigation area

As an alternative to the procedure described above, you can also use the left-hand navigation area to move a folder.

  1. Click Media at the top of the screen.
  2. Move the mouse cursor over the folder in the left-hand navigation area that you want to move.
    A context menu link appears next to the folder.
  3. Click the context menu link.
    A context menu appears.
  4. Click Move.
    A dialog window appears.
  5. Select the target folder in the dialog window.
    or
    Click New folder. Then enter a name for the new folder and click the green tick mark to confirm the operation.
  6. Click Move.

You have now moved the folder, which can be found in the target folder you selected.
