Find out more here about the topic of users and groups.
You’ll learn how to invite and delete users, how to create groups, how to grant permissions, and much more besides.
This article shows you how easy it is to invite someone to become a Formcentric user.
People that you invite to Formcentric receive an invitation email automatically. This message includes a link that takes the users to the registration page, where they need to set a password. Once they have set a password, they can then log in on the login page and get started.
If your user has lost their invite, you need to resend it. Formcentric makes this easy to do.
You can withdraw invitations that you have sent if these invitations have not yet been accepted. This will invalidate the link in the invitation email that you sent.
You can delete users in the admin centre if they no longer need their Formcentric accounts.
You can create groups to limit access rights to data. For example, you can specify that members of a group cannot view and/or edit submissions from all of your forms or from individual forms.
You can remove members from groups whenever you want to. These users that you remove are then no longer affected by the restrictions that still apply to the group.
You can delete a group that you no longer need. This only deletes the group itself. Users who are members of the group are not deleted.
You can use access rights to prevent certain users from accessing or working with submissions in various ways. To do this, you first set up a group in the admin centre. You then edit this group and add the users whose access you want to restrict. As a last step, you modify the rights for this group. All of the members of this group are then automatically affected by the restriction. The following sections explain how to complete the steps given above.
